The Mongolian Intellectual Property Authority is to set intellectual property controls for TV channels.  Some TV channels violate laws by broadcasting illegal advertisements that are not allowed or are restricted and by using all rights reserved products. Therefore the Mongolian Intellectual Property Authority announced a law about intellectual property and gave guidance through conducting inspections last year.

The State inspector of the Intellectual Property Authority Ch.Erdenebayar said “this year the Authority is expected to check the implementation of the law and to take action if there are any violations”

Inspectors from the Intellectual Property Authority are to conduct inspections with the help of a server that keeps evidence of any violation of law about intellectual property for at least three months.
