The Criminal Police Department revealed eight human trafficking attempts and 17 organized prostitution cases according to the report last October. Most of the human trafficking cases were attempts to send Mongolian girls to Erenhot, Hohhot, Xinjiang, Guangzhou and Malaysia for prostitution. The Criminal Police Department also revealed an organized criminal group that had preteen girls prostituted and transferred the case to the State Investigation Agency. The organized group is believed to threaten the underage girls to have them sell their bodies for money in hotels.  The Criminal Police Department also accuses the hotel owners who knew about the incidents but did not have the intention to inform the police about the crime.

The Criminal Police Department shut down 10 illegal web sites which posted pornographic contents, videos and photos publicly and charged them under violation related law.
