Reports say that agents of the Anti Corruption Authority illegally tried to question E.Erdenejamiyan, the Deputy Minister of Justice, on 29th October. Our journalist talked to him about what happened.

E.Endenejamiyan:- “Agents of the Anti Corruption Authority tried to question me about the case related to former president N.Enkhbayar. I do not know anything.  But only that they entered the deputy minister`s room without having permission and tried to question me illegally”.

The reason behind the complaint by the deputy minister is that the agents told him that they wanted to see him on a business matter to gain entrance to his room instead of getting permission.

E.Amarbat from the Investigation Department in the Anti Corruption Authority said that “We are investigating a few suspects related to the N.Enkhbayar case. We are having trouble in the investigation because some of the suspects escaped abroad. We found out that E.Erdenejamiyan had sent a written request to the General Secretary of Interpol to stop an international investigation of the main suspects N.Enkhtuya and B.Khuyag on N.Enkhabayar`s case. We then opened a criminal case on E.Erdenejamiyan to clarify whether he did or did not send the request to Interpol.”

If Deputy Minister E.Erdenejamiyan is guilty of sending a request to Interpol to defend suspects related to former president and head of MPRP, N.Enkhbayar, he will face charge for abuse of power and interfering with an investigation.
