Police officers interrogated the teenagers, who bandaged their faces because of the burnings, about the accident. According to the report by B.Bat-Orgil, an official of the hospital,“six teenagers who were partially and totally burnt because of a gas explosion were delivered to the hospital for emergency on October 7th. The youngest of them, a female, is only 14 years old and all the others are boys. Two of them are in a recovery treatment room and all of them have third degree burns. Our department is normally too busy and we will continue in these difficult conditions until the new building is completed. Almost 80 percent of our patients are children. Right now there are 14 patients in a single room which has only a 6 person capacity. Lack of facilities and beds mean that some of our patients must lie on the floor.”
