
The Great Steppe Jazz Festival is opening tonight at the State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet. Australian singer and pianist Bonnie Jensen, saxophonist Graham Jesse, French flutist Emil Kalm and the group “The Laurent Maur” will participate for the first time in the festival organized by NSO. Returning participants include Canadian singer Deb Rassmussen and Swiss singer Elian Amherd. The Great Steppe Jazz festival is special this year because participants of the festival will perform charity concerts and conduct workshops at the Military Song and Dance Academic Ensemble, Music and Dance College, Lotus Children`s Center and Hotel Kempinski. The closing performance will be held at the Blue Sky Tower on October 6.
