School new year begins on September
3. Usually school new year in Mongolia begins on September 1. But this year
September 1 was Saturday and lessons moved to Monday.

Nationwide 168 thousand children
will study in 927 kindergarten and 506 thousand students will study in 763
secondary school.

Mongolia spent 20 per cent of state
budget to the education sector.

President of Mongolia has tradition
to start first lesson via National Public Television and Radio since 2009, when
he took a Presidential Office.

According to the education and
Science Ministry 175 thousand students will study in 98 universities and
institutes.
