The Children’s Preforming Arts Festival in East Asia will be
held from August 21 to 26 in Ulaanbaatar on the occasion of the 50th anniversary
of Mongolia’s becoming a member of the United Nations Educational, Scientific
and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).
This will be the second time for Mongolia to host the
festival with previous ones held in Japan, South Korea and China.
The festival’s objective is to encourage children to
preserve their culture and to establish friendship and ties between
participating nations.
