Some of these territories of 21 provinces and 326 soums set aside by Minister for Mineral Resources and Energy D.Zorigt so that the special licenses for mining in the area are banned up to five years. It means any mining license will not be issued for five years. The cabinet also discussed matters on erecting blocks on the deposit areas, doing a rehabilitation, intensifying the environmental monitoring.  Totally 44.5 per cent territories of Mongolia have been owned by special licenses but now 14.2  per cent of land left eligible for special licenses. The Government starts considering to expand a list of strategic deposits, own 51 per cent of assets which explored by state, issue exploration licenses, let people to control mining sector and focus on provincial government suggestions in coming years.
