The rector of Sofia University professor Ivan Ilchev and the
Director of Bulgarian Antarctic Institute professor Hristo Pimpirev have signed
a memorandum of cooperation with Mongolia in the area of education and science.

After the ceremony professor Pimpirev delivered a lecture,
presenting Bulgaria’s activities in Antarctica and joint five year researches
carried out by Bulgaria and Mongolian scientists on the ice-covered continent.

During the visit Bulgarian scientists have met Mongolian
President Tsakhia Elbegdor.
