The “Morin Khuur” third international
festival to be held on April29 to May 2 in Ulaanbaatar. Around 200 an actors, a
researchers and a scholars from Japan, Russian Federation, China, USA, Germany
and France will attend the event.  

“The event aimed to introduce Mongolian
traditional musical heritage to the world, to encourage cooperation of researchers
and scholars who study morin khuur” said organizers.

The opening ceremony will be on
April 29 at 4 pm at Central Cultural Palace. There also will be revealed
exhibition. On next day on April 30 will be performance of foreign artists at
State Philarmony. During the festival also will perform “Evening with Morin
khuur” and will organize conference on morin khuur study.
