In the day”s first game, Mongolia was pushed all the way for their 3-2 win over Thailand. The Thailand team took an early lead, but Mongolia came back strongly in the next two sets. The Mongolians finally earned their win in a very close fifth set, taking the match 3-2 (14-25, 25-19, 17-25, 25-20, 15-10).
The afternoon”s second match saw Hong Kong, China pull off their first victory, defeating Kyrgyzstan in three sets 25-17, 26-24, 25-18. This result is a nice confidence booster for the Hong Kong team, but it leaves the Kyrgyzstan still without a win in two games.
The Championship is continuing in Buyant-Ukhaa sports palace with 5040 spectators but on 11th April, competition hall was almost full of people. Mongolians are rooting for their team actively and sincerely. Mongolian volleyball team is getting encouragement from fans.
